Recycling Awards

Introduction

If you are holding onto or storing trophies and awards in your basement or attic and are thinking or throwing them out in your weekly trash, please consider our proposal first.

Recycle your trophies & awards through our company.
We will donate your trophies to one of our Charities in Ottawa.

Many families and individuals find our solution to their problem, a satisfying one.

Entire families have donated over 10-160 trophies per family that were the pride and joy to their family for many years, but were taking up too much room in their home or apartment.

These awards have a great deal of sentimental value for most people and our option of recycling their awards to non-profit children's groups or the handicapped, passes on that value to a new generation. Families and businesses have donated over 462 trophies and plaques for recylcling in 2002 alone.
300 of these awards were donated by two familes alone.

We have repaired and given out over 280 trophies in 2002.

How It Works

Many non-profit children's groups come to us with budgets under $ 100.00 annually.
Most annual awards are in a price range of $ 60.00 - $ 250.00.
These groups do not usually seek us out directly, they are normally recommended through volunteer associations, the Salvation Army, church groups or close business associates. Many of our local competitors (close business associates) have recommended us to their customers as a collection point or contact for donating used awards.

After we are contacted by a contributor to our program, here is where we come in:

  • Personal pick-up of your used trophies and awards in the Ottawa Region.
  • Separating, Cleaning and Assembling of working components.
  • Return of your trophy face plates if requested by the contributor.
  • Discarding of award components that are beyond repair.
  • Donation of the recycled award to a needy group or individual on your behalf.
  • What's In It For Us ?

This program gives our company a great deal of visibility in the community.
Recyling also keeps our landfills a lot smaller.

It is our way of supporting the community and region that we live in.
What better way to contribute, than to do what we are the best at.

With all the specialized equipment that we have at our disposal, it only makes sense that the recycling process be done closest to the source of the original manufacturing process.

There is a tremendous satisfaction in giving, once you start, it can be addictive and contagious.
